Welcome to 993 Art & Illustration. I’m Freddie, a UK-based illustrator and graphic designer. I’ve been working in the music industry since 2021, when I designed my first T-shirt at age 17.

My style aims to capture the energy and emotion of rock and metal music, using bold linework and vivid colour inspired by the early 2010s metalcore scene I grew up with. That said, I’m also comfortable working across a range of styles depending on what the project calls for.

I believe the most important part of any band’s artwork is the music itself, it’s the life force behind every element. That’s why I try to put as much care and intent into my work as the band puts into their sound. Artwork feels more meaningful when there’s something behind those finer details, and that’s what I aim for every time.
